I couldn't figure out this one, until nearly the end---what started the whole incident, who was the culprit, why????? Finally figured out the reason that is possible is because Author Jeff Carson is one great ACCOMPLISHED writer/AUTHOR, and has an ENDLESS FOUNTAIN of stories in that creative, fertile, and VERY imaginative MIND of his, then he adeptly puts pen to paper, and is able to convey that to the reader with the magic use of his words. If you like twists and turns, unexpected plots, characters you'll love, those you'll love to hate, all set in the harsh and beautiful mountain west, then the David Wolf Series is for you. Needless to say, that I didn’t get to read it back then and I’m glad I didn’t because I probably would’ve been bored. Almost stopped reading this series after the 1st book as the writing is not great but I did find I enjoyed the characters and the way Wolf deals with problem solving. 10 - just as good as any other in the David Wolf series.DARK MOUNTAIN turned out to be VERY EXCITING, and a different read!!! I look forward to reading more.

Also not feeling the condition between Wolf and Lauren it’s a poor chose for WoI had read all the books in this series, although I have enjoyed reading this series I have a few complaints.

His town is located just above Vail, Colorado. But DARK MOUNTAIN from the Mystery Thriller Series, captured my reader mind, AND my heart. I am binge-reading all the ones I haven't yet read (2 or 3 to go). The David Wolf Mystery Thriller Series Book 1-4 is one of the best writers. We’d love your help. Having never read his books in the past the David Wolf police mysteries were a pleasant surprise to me.

Good thing their have been some births in the passing time or Mr/ Carson might run out of stories. Held my attention and had a few surprises that I didn't see coming !! I like his main character and the supporting cast around him. Start by marking “David Wolf: Books 1-4” as Want to Read: Come on no law inforcement personal gets beat up as much as his Character and lives.

I have read all the Tanner stories and this is as good for holding my attention. Needless to say, that I didn’t get to read it back then and I’m glad I didn’t because I probably would’ve been bored. You end up caring sooo much about his characters, they become family, especially if you have read all of his David Wolf series. The make, model, horsepower and accessories of every truck is described right down to the year and color. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.
